Through donations and bank loans Lin was able to buy property (just under 2 acres) and begin work on his first 2 buildings. As of April, 2005, HCRC now has 3 buildings (plus the gatehouse). Recently an organization called Teen Missions has been sending teams of young people over in the summer to provide us with much needed manual labor. This has resulted in rooms getting painted, parking lot and sidewalks getting poured, and even a playground built.
As of 2005, HCRC is branching out from strictly hearing imparements to also speech and mental disabilities. They are also beginning work training classes so that the kids can have marketable skills.
